The Cardiac, Pulmonary, and Exercise Rehabilitation Department at Ramkhamhaeng Hospital organized a training program to provide knowledge and skills in the use of CPET (Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing) equipment for medical personnel, healthcare professionals, and public health personnel interested in the field.
The opening remarks were delivered by Dr. Suthee Leelasethakul, Chief Executive Officer of Ramkhamhaeng Hospital. The distinguished speakers for the training included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitthat Pongpibool, an expert in cardiac, pulmonary, and exercise rehabilitation at Ramkhamhaeng Hospital, and Mr. Carl D. Mottram, Associate Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic. Both speakers honored the event by presenting on the topic of Laboratory Practice in Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing.
The training aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills for using CPET equipment in accurately assessing and interpreting cardiac and pulmonary fitness. The acquired skills can be applied in clinical settings, exercise prescription, as well as in the effective care and management of patients.
This training took place on January 20, 2023, at the 10th-floor meeting room of Building 3, Ramkhamhaeng Hospital.
