Ramkhamhaeng Hospital Holds Press Conference for Charity Run “Ram Hero Run 2026” – Safe Running for Strong Hearts, Year 3
Ramkhamhaeng Hospital recently held a press conference to announce the charity run “Ram Hero Run 2026 – Safe Running for Strong Hearts”, now in its 3rd year. The run is scheduled for Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Suan Luang Rama IX Park, aiming to encourage people to take better care of their health while contributing to society. Part of the registration proceeds will be donated to The Heart Foundation of Thailand under the Royal Patronage and The Cardiac Children Foundation of Thailand under the Patronage of H.R.H. Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra.
The press conference was honored by the presence of Dr. Rukkagee Kanjanapitak, CEO of Ramkhamhaeng Hospital Group and Affiliates; Dr. Pitchaya Somburanasin, Chairman of the Board; Dr. Suthee Leelasetakul, Chairman of Ramkhamhaeng Hospital; Dr. Siripong Luengvarinkul, Executive Director; Mr. Talit Chuen-im, Executive Director; and Miss Tassawan Sirivongs, Executive Director of Ramkhamhaeng Hospital, together with leading specialists including Dr. Pornchai Pothinamthong (Dermatology), Dr. Sarobon Chaudakshetrin (Infectious Diseases), and Dr. Srisupa Laopakorn (Gynecologic Oncology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery). Also in attendance were representatives from the partnering foundations, Ramkhamhaeng’s medical team, celebrities such as Thisa Varitthisa Limthammahisorn, Tum Warawut Poyim, Jenny Chayissara Wattananawin, Jayda Saranya Chunhasart, Guitar Siripich Vimolnoch, Son Gongphop Bunnathong, Chai Somchai Charoensook, Tos Rawidcha Panchawit, Parn Khomkrit Duangsuwan, Tan Buranrat Hombut, along with running influencers who shared their health and wellness tips.
The “Ram Hero Run 2026” offers four race categories:
Family Run – 3 km
Fun Run – 5 km
Mini Marathon – 10 km
Half Marathon – 21 km
All categories will be officially timed with an international-standard Chip Timing System to ensure fairness for participants. Runners will receive a commemorative T-shirt, medal, and BIB number.
Ramkhamhaeng Hospital prioritizes safety throughout the course with mobile medical units, emergency ambulance points, first aid stations, and on-site medical teams. White-shirted medical professionals and specially trained “Hero Runners” in blue shirts—certified in Basic Life Support (CPR) and AED use—will be stationed across all race distances to provide immediate assistance if needed.
Additionally, the event will feature the “RAM Health & Fit Fair”, offering health education activities, fun games, and giveaways for runners.
The charity run will take place on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Suan Luang Rama IX Park. On the day before, Saturday, January 10, 2026, a BIB Collection Day will be held at M Fashion Hall 1, G Floor, The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi, with exciting pre-event activities, including a mini-concert by top artists and special performances.
