Penile melanosis and lentiginosis

Penile melanosis and lentiginosis

Penile melanosis and lentiginosis present as flat, dark spots on the penis and can occur at any age. They may appear spontaneously or follow inflammation or injury. These lesions are typically asymptomatic (painless and non-itchy) and usually harmless. However, medical consultation is advised if changes occur, such as rapid growth, irregular borders, elevation, ulceration, pain, or itching, as these could indicate early signs of skin cancer.
