Annual Health Checkup: Choose and Prepare Properly
May 15 / 2026
Annual Health Check-up is not just about routine blood tests or X-rays, but it is an "investment" in your health to detect hidden abnormalities (Silent Killers) at an early stage for timely and most effective treatment.
Why get a health check-up even if you look healthy?
Annual health check-ups allow us and our doctors to know about many serious diseases hidden in the body, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high blood lipids or evencancer, which often show no symptoms in the early stages. Preventive screening will help us:
Be aware of risk factors:Modify behaviors in time before the onset of disease.
Reduce severity:Increase the chances of a complete cure.
Caring for your feelings to give you peace of mind: Prevention is much easier to manage than treating a disease once it has progressed.
Good health starts with "Early Awareness"
Choosing an annual health check-up with a hospital that has a team of expert doctors and modern technology will ensure you receive the right advice and holistic care. Because prevention... is always better than cure.
Health screening suitable for "All Ages"
The body's needs differ at each stage of life, so we should choose programs that cover the following:
1. Ages under 30 years: Focus on building a foundation
At this age, the body is usually at its peak, but basic check-ups should not be neglected.
Complete Blood Count (CBC)
Vision and hearing tests
Chest X-ray and dental check-up
2. Ages 30-39 years: Working age and accumulated stress
This is the age when wear and tear begins to surface due to hard work and insufficient rest.
Blood sugar and blood lipid level tests
Liver and kidney function tests
For Women: Start screenings for cervical cancer and breast examinations.
4. Ages 60 years and above: Close care and monitoring
Focus on evaluating degeneration across key bodily systems:
Bone mineral density test
Dementia screening (Dementia)
Vision screening (glaucoma/cataracts) and hearing tests
