EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) is an advanced procedure that combines endoscopy (a flexible tube with a camera) and ultrasound to examine the digestive tract. This technology allows doctors to perform in-depth examinations and collect biopsy samples simultaneously.
A flexible, small-diameter tube (endoscope) is inserted through the mouth or rectum. The device then emits high-frequency sound waves to create diagnostic images of the digestive wall and surrounding organs.
