On Saturday, 31 January 2026, Ramkhamhaeng Hospital organized a prenatal education workshop for expectant mothers in their 7th–9th month of pregnancy. The event received an enthusiastic response, with 42 expectant parents participating. The workshop was offered free of charge as part of the hospital’s commitment to promoting maternal and child health.

The program featured comprehensive educational sessions and practical activities conducted by a team of specialist physicians and professional nurses. Topics covered included prenatal care, childbirth preparation, and newborn care. Participants also took part in a hands-on workshop on proper and safe baby bathing, helping new parents build confidence and readiness for welcoming their newborns.

The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. In addition to gaining valuable knowledge and practical experience, all participants received special souvenirs as a token of appreciation. Recognizing the importance of maternal and infant health, Ramkhamhaeng Hospital remains dedicated to supporting parents and promoting preparedness throughout every stage of pregnancy.

The Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Ramkhamhaeng Hospital is staffed by highly experienced obstetricians specializing in maternal and fetal care and delivery. The department also includes neonatologists who provide care for newborns from the moment of birth, ensuring reassurance and safety for families. The obstetrics and gynecology team is available to offer consultations and continuous care from pregnancy planning through postpartum recovery. During labor, nurses closely monitor uterine contractions and fetal heart rate through a fetal monitoring system, with real-time data displayed at the central nursing station.

The Pediatric Department at Ramkhamhaeng Hospital comprises pediatric specialists across all subspecialties, supported by nurses skilled in pediatric care for both healthy and ill children. The team is experienced in promoting child development and assessing feeding and developmental functions in infants. Pediatricians are on duty 24 hours a day. In case of emergencies, the hospital is equipped with a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), providing round-the-clock care by pediatric critical care physicians. Parents are also allowed to stay with their children in the PICU.
