Ramkhamhaeng Hospital Holds 4th CPR and AED Training for the Public

February 09 / 2026

On Saturday, 7 February 2026, Ramkhamhaeng Hospital organized a training program on Basic Life Support (CPR) and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for the general public, with the aim of enhancing knowledge and life-saving skills in emergency situations. The training was led by Ms. Patcharee Koedkaew, Deputy Head of the Emergency Department, together with the nursing teams from the Critical Care Unit and Cardiac Catheterization Unit of Ramkhamhaeng Hospital, who provided close guidance through both lectures and hands-on practice.

The objective of this training was to equip community members with the knowledge and skills needed to assist individuals experiencing medical emergencies, such as sudden cardiac arrest, in a correct and timely manner before emergency medical services arrive, thereby increasing patients’ chances of survival.

The event received strong interest from the public, with a large number of participants attending. Attendees gained comprehensive knowledge through both theoretical instruction and practical training, covering basic life-saving techniques, AED usage, and basic first aid. This hands-on experience helped build confidence and preparedness to apply these skills in real-life situations, contributing to greater safety and peace of mind within the community in a sustainable manner.
