Side effects after COVID-19 vaccination are mostly mild and usually resolve on their own within 3 days. Common symptoms include a low-grade fever, muscle and joint aches, fatigue, general discomfort, headache, nausea, or localized numbness. These symptoms occur as the body responds to the vaccine.
Severe side effects are rare, such as a lump at the injection site, dizziness, lightheadedness, palpitations, abdominal pain, vomiting, facial drooping, muscle weakness, seizures, loss of consciousness, or flu-like symptoms including fever, cough, sore throat, and runny nose.

According to statistics and reported cases, severe allergic reactions are quite rare. Symptoms may include high fever, severe headache, sudden drop in blood pressure, bronchospasm, difficulty breathing, or a widespread rash. You should strictly monitor your symptoms for a full 30 minutes after vaccination.
Severe allergic reactions usually occur within 15 minutes; if severe symptoms develop, seek immediate medical attention.
The COVID-19 vaccines used in Thailand have been registered for emergency use during the pandemic outbreak and are proven safe. Choosing to get vaccinated at a standardized hospital is also crucial, as medical staff are readily available to assist if any abnormal symptoms occur during post-vaccination observation.
