Executives from Ramkhamhaeng Hospital, Synphaet Hospital, Chiangmai Ram Hospital, and Lanna Hospital jointly donated 1,200,000 baht (one million two hundred thousand baht) to the “Fund for Forest Rangers.”

The donation was officially received by Mr. Thanya Netithammakul, Director-General of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation; Mr. Jongklai Woraphongsathorn, Deputy Director-General; and Mr. Krittasayam Kongsatri, Chief of Doi Inthanon National Park, on March 10, 2019.

Dr. Jermpol Bhumitrakul, Executive Director of Ramkhamhaeng Hospital, in his capacity as a member of the Community Police Advisory Board (Kor.Tor.Tor.) of Huamark Police Station, together with Pol. Col. Sarayut Junnawat, Superintendent of Huamark Police Station, Pol. Lt. Col. Sutat Chaimongkol, Deputy Superintendent (Prevention and Suppression), and Mr. Pornsak Pitakpoonsin, Chairman of the Community Police Advisory Board of Huamark Police Station, visited Khlong Kacha Community, Soi Huamark 21, Huamark Subdistrict, Bang Kapi District, Bangkok.

The visit was conducted in line with the “Empowerment” strategy aimed at strengthening communities to prevent and suppress crime. During the visit, the delegation engaged with local residents and distributed essential supplies, including rice, medicines, and other necessary items, to provide initial assistance and support to the community.

On Thursday, October 8, 2015, at 4:00 PM, Phra Ratchavisuddhimuni (Phra Ajarn Yuean Khantipalo) of Wat Khao Sala Atulthanacharo, Surin Province, together with Dr. Chamnarn Chanapai, Executive Director of Ramkhamhaeng Hospital, as well as doctors, nurses, and staff, jointly served as co-hosts of the Abhidhamma chanting ceremony in honor of His Holiness Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara, the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand.

The ceremony was held at the Phet Residence Pavilion, Wat Bowonniwet Vihara. On this occasion, all participants paid their respects before the royal funeral urn and offered prayers and homage in reverence to His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch.

Representatives from the Media Production Center for Thai Muslims paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Jermpon Phumitrakul, Executive Director of Ramkhamhaeng Hospital. The delegation, led by Mr. Worayos Thipcharupoka, Creative Editor, and Ms. Fareeda Lamo, Marketing and Business Development, reported on the outcomes of the hospital’s support for the production of the Islamic Calendar for the Hijri years 1436–1437 (2015), which was distributed at the Central Mawlid event and to various organizations.

During the visit, the delegation also toured the hospital’s halal kitchen and prayer room facilities.

Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, President of the Thai Red Cross Society, graciously commanded the issuance of a commendation recognizing Ramkhamhaeng Hospital as an institution that has consistently supported group blood donation efforts to help fellow human beings for over five years. With a total blood donation volume exceeding 1,000 units, the hospital is deemed worthy of this honor. The Thai Red Cross Society hereby grants this certificate of recognition in appreciation of its contributions. Given on September 29, 2015.

Ramkhamhaeng Hospital, represented by the Head Nurses on behalf of physicians and staff, presented donations in cash and essential items to Phra Alangkot, Abbot of Wat Phra Bat Namphu, Lopburi Province, to support the care of children and patients living with HIV/AIDS.

In addition, the hospital’s Dhamma Learning Center organized donations of funds and daily necessities to a nursing home in Nakhon Pathom Province, as well as to the Baan Kru Noi Foundation, to further support underprivileged communities.

Ramkhamhaeng Hospital recognizes the importance of health and is committed to promoting the well-being of Thai people. The hospital ensures that waste generated across all departments is properly managed, stored, and transported in compliance with established standards. Ramkhamhaeng Hospital participated in the “Energy-Saving Industry for Thailand” initiative, supporting the nation’s efforts to reduce energy consumption. In collaboration with the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, Ministry of Energy, the hospital replaced conventional fluorescent lighting with LED fluorescent tubes throughout all parking areas, enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability.

Rationale:

In today’s society, people are increasingly disconnected from local communities, while many remote areas still require support from various sectors—whether financial assistance, essential supplies, health education, or simply care and attention from urban society. Giving back to society has always been a core value of Ramkhamhaeng Hospital. The hospital actively encourages its staff to participate in volunteer activities, fostering a spirit of generosity and compassion—key qualities valued by the organization—while also promoting the meaningful use of their time for the benefit of others.

• Donating educational materials such as stationery, colored pencils, school bags, books, and printed materials to encourage reading and writing among students

• Renovating and repainting school infirmaries and libraries

• Contributing funds to support the construction of commemorative libraries, infirmaries, and school restrooms

• Building a swimming pool for children with muscular weakness at the Pakkred Babies’ Home

• Donating funds for road repairs to improve accessibility for persons with disabilities along Tiwanon–Pakkred 1 Road (approximately 1.1 kilometers)
