Healthy Moms and Babies 2023 at Ramkhamhaeng Hospital

The Quality Pregnancy Training event for 2023, themed "Healthy Moms and Babies," targeting pregnancies of 1-6 months, took place at Ramkhamhaeng Hospital on November 18, 2566. The event unfolded in Meeting Room 10 on the 3rd floor of Building 3 at Ramkhamhaeng Hospital, with the participation of 32 interested parents.

Recognizing the paramount importance of safety and the developmental well-being of the unborn child, the hospital diligently prepared to supplement knowledge for welcoming new members into the family. This preparation plays a crucial role in reinforcing confidence in providing comprehensive care for the child right from the pregnancy stage.

Ramkhamhaeng Hospital made extensive preparations to ensure the well-being of both mothers and infants throughout the pregnancy. The training covered essential aspects such as prenatal care, fostering the developmental progress of the child during pregnancy, and readiness for a safe delivery. The program also included guidance on postpartum care from a team of specialized medical professionals and knowledgeable nurses, ready to address any concerns. Participants had the opportunity to interact with doctors from all three branches and engage in prenatal yoga sessions, contributing to a four-hour immersive learning experience for both mothers and fathers.

In the Obstetrics and Gynecology department, Ramkhamhaeng Hospital boasts a team of experienced obstetricians with expertise in maternal and infant care during pregnancy and delivery. They have neonatologists dedicated to monitoring newborns from the moment they are born, providing reassurance to parents entrusting their new lives to our medical team. Additionally, a team of midwives and obstetric nurses offers consultation, answers questions, and cares for women from pregnancy preparation to postpartum, ensuring confidence and alleviating anxiety.

Continuous monitoring of abnormal developments is facilitated by advanced recording equipment that tracks uterine contractions and fetal heartbeats through central monitoring screens. The hospital's Pediatric department, equipped with pediatric specialists in every subfield, ensures expert care for both sick and healthy children. Their proficiency in developmental stimulation, mindfulness training, and assessment of sucking and swallowing in infants is complemented by a round-the-clock team of pediatricians. In unforeseen circumstances, the hospital has a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) prepared for 24-hour care under the supervision of pediatric emergency physicians, allowing parents to vigilantly observe their infants in the PICU.

The comprehensive approach of Ramkhamhaeng Hospital reflects its commitment to providing top-tier care for expectant parents and their newborns, addressing their medical needs and fostering a sense of confidence and security throughout the pregnancy and beyond.
