Q1: How can I check my Moderna vaccine reservation queue or transfer my rights??

Q2: Which queue number will I be allocated for vaccination??

A: The hospital allocates Moderna vaccine queues based on the order of booking. Buyers can view their queue details from the proof of payment link in the SMS sent by the hospital.

Q3: When will I receive my reserved Moderna vaccination?? 

A: Since the Moderna vaccine allocated to the hospital arrives in lots and in limited quantities, booking slots for vaccination dates will open sequentially according to your reservation order. Once you receive an SMS confirming your eligibility to select a date, you can proceed to book your vaccination date at >> https://reservation.ram-ds.com with the following details:

 

  • A 3.1 If you wish to receive the vaccine:

    • After selecting your preferred date and time, you will receive an SMS with a link to confirm and complete the consent form at least 2 days prior to your appointment.
  • A 3.2 If you have received eligibility but do not wish to be vaccinated yet:

    • No need to book an appointment date yet. When the hospital receives the next lot of vaccines, additional time slots will be opened, and you will immediately retain priority to select a date in that lot.
  • A 3.3 If you have not yet received eligibility to select a date:

    • When the hospital receives the next lot of vaccines, an SMS will be sent to notify you to choose your vaccination date and time in sequence.

Q4: When can I reschedule my appointment date and time??

A: If you need to change your vaccination date, you may select a new date provided there are available slots on your preferred day. Access >> https://reservation.ram-ds.com to fill in details and change the date. Rescheduling must be done at least 2 days before your scheduled date.

 

  • A 4.1. In case you need to change the date after pressing confirm/submitting the consent form:

    • You must notify the hospital via email: vaccine@ram-hosp.com

   

Q5: Can I get a refund if I no longer wish to receive the Moderna vaccine? ?

A: According to the pre-reservation terms, the hospital reserves the right to deny refunds under all circumstances, unless the hospital is unable to procure the vaccine for you.
 

Q6: How can I transfer my Moderna vaccine rights to another person? Who can I transfer it to?

A: Rights can be transferred to both Thai citizens and foreigners, and prior medical history at the hospital is not required. Transfers can be completed via the booking confirmation link sent by the hospital. Vaccine Right Transfer Method

 

Q7: If I have received other COVID-19 vaccines, how many months should I wait before getting Moderna??

A: You can inquire directly with Ramkhamhaeng Hospital by calling 1512 and informing doctors/nurses of your previous vaccination history to create an appropriate personalized care plan.

 

Q8: If I have completed 3 doses, can I take Moderna as a 4th dose??

A: It is recommended to consult a physician or await further guidance/reports after the vaccine arrives.

 

Q9: What documents should I bring on the day of my Moderna vaccination appointment??

A: National ID Card (Thai Nationals) or Passport / Non-Thai ID Card (Foreigners) along with the reservation details screenshot containing the QR code.
 

Q10: If I cannot attend on my booked date, can the hospital store my vaccine, and for how long??

A: It depends on the expiration date of the allocated batch, usually within 3-6 months from manufacture. The hospital will store it up to the vaccine's expiration date.

 

Q11: Should Moderna be used as a 2nd or 3rd booster shot? If I took other vaccine brands, can I receive Moderna? How many doses and interval between each?

A: Please refer to the diagram above. ***Note: Booster recommendations follow the Academic Division of the Department of Disease Control and are subject to future updates.

 

Q12: How can I get an official payment receipt??

A: The hospital issues receipts only under the recipient's name upon receiving service, except for corporate purchases.

 

Q13: Can I get a receipt if I received a transferred right??

A: The hospital can issue receipts only under the name of the actual vaccine recipient when receiving service, except for corporate purchases.

 

Q14: What age group is eligible for Moderna vaccination??

A: Moderna vaccine is approved for individuals aged 12 and above. ** If under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must sign a consent form at the vaccination site **

  • The Thai FDA has approved Moderna vaccine for children aged 12-17 years to prevent COVID-19.


Q15: Can I get vaccinated if I have underlying medical conditions or take regular medications??

A: Individuals with chronic diseases or daily medications should consult a physician prior to vaccination (physician consultation fee applies).

 

Q16: How can I edit user information? ?

A: To edit buyer info (e.g., email or phone number without transferring rights), you can notify the hospital via E-mail: vaccine@ram-hosp.com. Transfers of rights must be performed 2 days before the system locks. Once transferred, edits are locked unless transferred back.

 

Q17: If I bought Moderna at 1,700 THB/dose and the price dropped to 1,650 THB, how do I get a refund??

A: If you purchased at 1,700 THB, you can claim a 50 THB refund on your vaccination day by showing your mobile QR Code and “Proof of Vaccination”

Q18: I reserved 2 doses of Moderna vaccine (Full Dose), but I have already received 1 dose or 2 doses of another vaccine brand. Can I use them as split doses? Or when transferring rights, do I have to transfer both doses together under one person's name?

A: For the Moderna alternative vaccine, there are 2 options: receiving 2 doses (Full Dose) or receiving 1 dose as a booster shot.

 

  • A 18.1. If you have already received 1 dose or 2 doses of another vaccine brand:

    • You can receive the Moderna alternative vaccine as a booster shot using only 1 dose.
    • The remaining 1 dose can be transferred to another person.
  • A 18.2. The transfer procedure is per-dose: 

    • When accessing the link >> https://reservation.ram-ds.com
    • After verifying your information, in the booking details for each dose, there will be a "Transfer/Change Recipient" button.
    • You can perform the transaction to transfer the vaccine rights to others from there.

 

Q19: Are the government-provided vaccine and the Moderna alternative vaccine administered in the same area? Will people be mixed?

A: For government-provided vaccines and the Moderna alternative vaccine, the hospital clearly separates zones and areas. Mostly, the hospital schedules vaccination dates on different days; only on certain days will there be appointments for AZ 2nd dose, which is not located in the same zone.

 

Q20: If I feel unwell and cannot come for vaccination on the chosen date and time, and I have already completed the consent form, what should I do?

A: Please contact the Call Center department at Tel. 0-2743-9999 ext. 2999 to reschedule your vaccination date. You cannot select the new appointment date by yourself.

 

Q21: Does it include insurance for side effects from the Moderna vaccine?

A: Individuals who receive the Moderna vaccine will be covered by insurance as follows:

 

  • A 21.1. In case of illness with Coma:

    • Diagnosed by a doctor as incurable, or in the event of death due to complications or side effects from vaccination to prevent Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19), coverage up to 1 million Baht.
  • A 21.2. In case of total permanent disability or loss of organs, sight (disability):

    • Due to complications or side effects from vaccination to prevent Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19), coverage up to 500,000 Baht per dose.
  • A 21.3. In case of medical treatment as an inpatient (admission) only:

    • Due to complications or side effects from vaccination to prevent Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19), coverage up to 100,000 Baht per dose (coverage period is 90 days after receiving the vaccine, and a doctor must confirm it is caused by vaccine side effects).

 

Q22: After receiving the Moderna vaccine, can I get a flu vaccine?

A: You can receive the influenza vaccine concurrently with the COVID-19 vaccine.
