Ramkhamhaeng Hospital Promotes Community Safety through the 3rd Annual “Basic Life Support (CPR) and AED Use for the General Public” Training
On October 25, 2025, Ramkhamhaeng Hospital organized the 3rd Annual Training on “Basic Life Support (CPR) and AED Use for the General Public” to promote safety and preparedness within the community. The session was led by Ms. Patcharee Koetkaen, Deputy Head of the Emergency Department, together with a team of nurses from the Critical Care and Cardiac Catheterization Departments, who provided in-depth instruction and hands-on training.
The program aimed to equip community members with essential knowledge, understanding, and practical skills to assist individuals in emergency situations—such as cardiac arrest—promptly and correctly before the arrival of an ambulance, thereby increasing the chances of survival for patients in need.
The event received an enthusiastic response, attracting a large number of participants. Attendees learned proper techniques for basic life support, AED operation, and first aid, all of which are invaluable in real-life emergency situations. Participants also had the opportunity to practice these life-saving skills firsthand, helping to build confidence and readiness to apply their knowledge in real situations—contributing to a safer and more reassured community.
