The word "obese" can be hurtful to hear. It hurts both emotionally and physically. When we start gaining weight, we also increase our risk of various health problems, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoarthritis, stroke, heart disease, high cholesterol, and other conditions. But if weight loss seems difficult, and we’re already overweight, how can we still aim for better health?
Exercise is an excellent way to help with weight management. When done regularly, it increases energy expenditure, reduces fat accumulation in the abdomen and under the skin, and strengthens the body. It also reduces the risk of diseases associated with obesity and, importantly, helps us manage or reduce weight effectively.
For people who are overweight, it's important to start cautiously and choose appropriate activities. Overweight individuals are often at higher risk of having conditions that may limit exercise, so to exercise successfully and achieve goals, it’s essential to follow these guidelines:

Our focus isn’t just on healing or controlling the disease but also on preventing future complications, improving quality of life, and maintaining good health.
